Diffusion Based Cooperative Molecular Communication in Nano-Networks
نویسندگان
چکیده
This work presents a novel diffusion based dualphase molecular communication system where the source leverages multiple cooperating nanomachines to improve the end-toend reliability of communication. The Neyman-Pearson Likelihood Ratio Tests are derived for each of the cooperative as well as the destination nanomachines in the presence of multiuser interference. Further, to characterize the performance of the aforementioned system, closed form expressions are derived for the probabilities of detection, false alarm at the individual cooperative, destination nanomachines, as well as the overall end-to-end probability of error. Simulation results demonstrate a significant improvement in the end-to-end performance of the proposed cooperative framework in comparison to multiple-input single-output and single-input single-output molecular communication scenarios in the existing literature.

Sum-Rate Maximization Based on Power Constraints for Cooperative AF Relay Networks
In this paper, our objective is maximizing total sum-rate subject to power constraints on total relay transmit power or individual relay powers, for amplify-and-forward single-antenna relay-based wireless communication networks. We derive a closed-form solution for the total power constraint optimization problem and show that the individual relay power constraints optimization problem is a quad...
متن کاملDiffusion-based physical channel identification in molecular nanonetworks
Nanonetworking is an emerging field of research at the intersection of nanotechnology and communication networks. Molecular Communication (MC) is a bio-inspired paradigm, where nanonetworks, i.e., the interconnection of nanodevices, are implemented based on the exchange of molecules. Within this paradigm, one of the most promising techniques is diffusion-based MC, which relies on free diffusion...
متن کاملImpacts of the Negative-exponential and the K-distribution modeled FSO turbulent links on the theoretical and simulated performance of the distributed diffusion networks
Merging the adaptive networks with the free space optical (FSO) communication technology is a very interesting field of research because by adding the benefits of this technology, the adaptive networks become more efficient, cheap and secure. This is due to the fact that FSO communication uses unregistered visible light bandwidth instead of the overused radio spectrum. However, in spite of all ...
متن کاملDistributed and Cooperative Compressive Sensing Recovery Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks with Bi-directional Incremental Topology
Recently, the problem of compressive sensing (CS) has attracted lots of attention in the area of signal processing. So, much of the research in this field is being carried out in this issue. One of the applications where CS could be used is wireless sensor networks (WSNs). The structure of WSNs consists of many low power wireless sensors. This requires that any improved algorithm for this appli...
